Aimed at creating a tailor-made ceremony for you and your partner that will be remembered for years to come. Need help writing up your own vows? Want a different kind of ceremony to leave a lasting impression? Sick and tired of listening to the same stock standard wedding ceremony? Then you have come to the right place.
With your wedding date set, you will most likely be starting to plan out your perfect day. Whether you want it to be a small intimate gathering, or a large family party, the focus is on you and your partner and the commitment you are about to make with one another. As a marriage celebrant, my aim is to customize a ceremony according to each individual couple – writing the ceremony to suit the style of your day – whether it be a traditional formal wedding or a relaxed informal ceremony. Being slightly younger than most marriage celebrants, I have a contemporary view of conducting wedding ceremonies – I am not interested in giving you a book of pre-written lines which you select in order to create your ceremony. I would rather sit down with you and discuss what you would like and write one to each couples requests whilst still complying with the marriage guidelines and laws within Australia.
A little about me
I originally became a marriage celebrant to marry off one of my best friends as I thought that it would be a wonderful gift to the couple if they could feel at ease with a close friend standing up there with them. After some long sleepless nights of studying, I completed my Certificate IV in Celebrancy in early 2013 and am now a registered marriage celebrant within Australia.
After each ceremony I have conducted, I not only feel as though I have formed an everlasting relationship with the couple but coming from a design background, I am also able to assist them with any visual props or advice they may want.
I believe that the wedding should be a celebration of the couple, that’s why each ceremony is custom written for you and your partner - quirks'n all!
My total fee is $720 which includes all appointments, on-going support with writing vowels, completion of the legal paperwork before & after the marriage preparation, a microphone and speaker for the ceremony, a rehearsal before the big day and of course, conducting the ceremony and a keep sake transcript afterwards. It also includes transport around the Perth metropolitan area (an extra cost applies if outside the metropolitan area).
Please note that when booking marriage celebrants, it needs to be done at least one calendar month prior to the wedding date as the Notice of Intention to Marriage Form needs to be filled out.
